Runner Detail Pages
Each runner you follow will have his or her own page within the Tracking section, presenting you with a dashboard of live tracking stats, links to create a Spectator Guide and Cheer Cards Presented by Biofreeze for your runner, and the option to view and order race-day photos.
Want to see your runner on race day, but need help navigating New York City? Our Spectator Guide can help you plan your race-day itinerary. Choose up to three spots on the course from our recommended viewing locations, and your guide will provide your runner’s estimated times of arrival, along with transportation directions between locations.
Back this year, TCS New York City Marathon Cheer Cards Presented by Biofreeze give you a way to give your runners a shout-out on the course. Take a photo, customize it with our TCS New York City Marathon sticker pack, and then tag your runners. On race day, your runner could see your message on one of two digital screens on the course!
You can also view pro athlete bios and race-week and race-day calendars, shop the latest New Balance gear, and more. Developed by Tata Consultancy Services, the app is free to download in the iTunes Store and Google Play.

Runner Tracking (Web)
Runner tracking and live unofficial results are available here. Features include leaderboards, map tracking, and an individual runner search that can be shared on Facebook and Twitter. Tell your friends and family to follow your progress, and because the system works great on mobile devices, you can get unofficial results right after the race!
- Tracking on the web provides the following splits: The start, every 5K, every mile beginning at mile 8, at the half, and at the finish.
